I want to update
you on a few fundraisers we have planned. First, I have a conference
call tomorrow with Steve Cunningham at Keeneland about clean up for fall
meet. Second, I have requested dates for Amazon gift wrapping and will
send those out. Finally, I need 3 volunteers to assist me in planning a
fundraiser on Saturday, November 12th. The event is called "Men Who
Cook" and features teams of 2-6 men who prepare sample sizes of any dish
they want. Tickets are sold to taste the food and the fun comes in
decorating your table or dish themed costumes. For example, one group
made lace cookies and called themselves "Men in Lace."
Mr.
Diaz has approved our use of the school on the 12th of November and I
need a few volunteers to help make this event possible. I was a part of
planning the event in Tuscaloosa, AL, and here's a link to the article
about it -

a lot of fun and comes with a good profit margin. Plus it will help
raise awareness about Spanish Immersion. Please let me know if you want
to be a part of any of these fundraisers.
